Mixer Geardrive

TERA Mixer drives are designed on a very rigid structure enabling high bending loads, the mixer output shaft is supported by taper roller bearings or deep groove ball bearings on the smaller sizes drives gears are case hardened and ground for efficiency, low noise and maximum service life.Gearbox housings are manufactured from aluminium up to size 70 and cast iron on larger sizes Gearboxes selections have a minimum SF (service factor) of 1.5

Mixer shaft design

The mixer shaft is designed to operate below first critical speed at all frequencies up to 50 hz if an inverter is used with the drive.

Ten mixer drives are available covering a power range from 0.25kw to 15 kw. Suitable for tanks and vessels from 25 to 60,000 litres

EM – HEAVY DUTY MIXERS

Euromixers – EM series top entry parallel shaft mixers have been designed on a very rigid monolithic structure enabling high bending loads, the gears are case hardened and ground for efficiency and quietness. Gearboxes selections are based on a minimum SF (service factor) of 2.0 to ensure long service life and low maintenance. A wide range of output speeds and motor powers are available for optimum mixing performance.

EM series features include.

• Standard euro voltage electric motors
• Rugged gearbox casing for strength and durability.
• Mounting plate direct mounting on the support structure or tank top.
• Case hardened and ground helical gears for efficiency and quietness in operation.
